On my colleague's, Adobe Reader is the reader by default. To download a PDF and not preview it, you need to change a setting in your browser. But if you want a different PDF reader then change it in Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Choose Default by File Type > PDF. Now try using the Chrome extension to open a PDF file or convert an HTML file to a PDF file. That's the Edge PDF Reader, not the Edge browser it works not that much differently than Firefox or Chrome PDF readers in saving files. I do not have Adobe Reader on my laptop, thus Chrome is my PDF reader by default. Try the following workaround: Open Acrobat Reader, and close it after a few seconds. I think it may be an issue with the program, but Chrome and Foxit Reader both load it correctly with all the information.
